Easy Weeknight Dinners: 100 Fast, Flavor-Packed Meals for Busy People Who Still Want Something Good to Eat

This cookbook lives up to its name! Of the recipes I’ve tried so far, they’ve been (relatively) quick, packed with flavor, and absolutely delicious. I kid you not, my son actually moaned after biting into the Chicken Katsu.

Description

You know how some cookbooks make you feel bad about taking shortcuts? This one’s different. It’s like having a friend who gets that sometimes dinner needs to happen NOW, and yes, store-bought shortcuts are totally fine!

What I Love About This Book:

  • The time estimates are actually realistic (hallelujah!)
  • Ingredient lists don’t require a special trip to three different stores
  • There are plenty of ‘make it your own’ suggestions for picky eaters
  • The ‘quick tips’ scattered throughout have seriously upped my cooking game

Standout Recipes:

  • Sheet-Pan Gochujang Chicken and Roasted Vegetables (page 48)
  • Braised White Beans and Greens with Parmasean (page 211)
  • Chicken Katsu (page 38)

Perfect for:

  • Anyone who’s ever looked at the clock at 5 PM and thought ‘oh no…’
  • Parents who want to cook real food but also need to drive to ______ (insert: sports, music lessons, dance, robotics, etc.)
  • People who love good food but don’t necessarily want to spend hours in the kitchen
