Hello, friends! Happy 2020! It’s been a while since I posted here, mostly because of the holidays, life, and, honestly, not spending much time in my sewing space these past few months.

Instead, I’ve been channeling my creative energy into a new passion project: building FeelGood Fibers, a marketplace for the exchange of secondhand and pre-loved fabrics. I’m excited to announce that our official launch will be on February 2nd!

Sewing Less, Creating More: An Evolving Creative Journey

It’s funny how this project came from my deep love of sewing. Quilting and sewing bring me joy—I love the creative process, the sense of accomplishment, and being part of such a supportive community. But as I’ve worked behind the scenes to get FeelGood Fibers ready, I’ve had less time to actually sew.

Is that a bad thing? Not necessarily. It’s just… new. It’s a little scary, a lot exciting, and 100% challenging. I’m learning to grow in ways I never expected, stretching my creativity beyond fabric and thread.

I’m Still Here (Just in a Different Way)

Although I don’t have many work-in-progress photos or new sewing tips to share with you right now, please don’t take my quietness as disengagement. If anything, I’ve been more connected to this community than ever—following your projects, cheering for your wins, and sharing your struggles with finding creative time and staying organized.

Just like you, I’m on a journey toward living a more sustainable and intentional creative life. And that’s exactly what I hope to inspire through FeelGood Fibers.
